The deal stalled, though, and he eventually signed a new contract with Fiorentina, but it contains a buy-out clause, and reports suggest Chelsea are set to pay it to land the wing-back. However, according to The Star, that speculation was quickly debunked and now Jose Mourinho will atempt to lure the Frenchman to Stamford Bridge. The Express says that Fifa agent Francois Gallardo has admitted Modrics girlfriend could pull the strings in terms of his next move.
