Chicago Family with newborn twins seeks full time nanny, to begin in mid September (River North Area) Monday through Friday, 7 a.m.-6 p.m. Occasional date night is desirable, but not required. Possibility of travel with the family but not required. $825 to $900 per week take home (can be flexible for ideal applicant - parents are focused on finding the right fit) plus paid holidays, paid sick / personal days and vacation. Nanny ABSOLUTELY should have prior experience dealing with twins. Nanny should drive and have a clean driving record. Nanny should supply a car. Reimbursement for mileage for driving while working is provided. Parking can be provided. Nanny should be interactive; creative; organized; efficient; have good time management skills; is friendly and discreet. Responsibilities include: all care of the babies, including tummy time and providing physical and mental stimulation; reading daily to children; reinforcing family values; drive children to activities; taking them to the park (weather permitting); prepare meals; feed and bath children; keep parents informed as to the progress of the children. Additional responsibilities include laundry; loading and unloading dishwasher; meal preparation; grocery shopping for babies, etc. Keeping a nanny log is important to the family as well as daily communication. Must be CPR certified, or be willing to take classes to obtain certification. Strong English/communication skills required. Neighborhood is close to stores and activities.
