Childhood games were training ground for this... What was just fun for some kids was my to do list... Playing checkers with Soul was a lesson in survival... Letting too many men go fight for revival... Connecting four was too easy lets get five... Gotta train harder when your connections keep you alive... Family time was filled with competitions in Tetris... When I finally scored highest my confidence was reckless... Doing puzzles with Lisa was laid back... But it trained me to make sure the fit is exact... Kept my awareness of others gifts in tact... Scrabble was the most important... Allowed me to tap into what was dormant... Cause I didnt know... My gift with the flow... So... I was emotional as I made words grow... And fit in spaces... Already had the shoes... This introduced the laces... The art of 16 bars on an elementary basis... So when I scored 126 it left everyone faceless... So as I approach this chess board called life... Im packin the pieces from Clue including the knife... Cause I trained too hard not to be great... Being queen of the board was always my fate... No need to debate... In case you missed it... Checkmate!!!
