Chocolate Peanut Buttercup Smoothie Ingredients: 1 cup non-dairy milk of choice 1 frozen banana 2 dates, pitted 1 TBS almond butter, peanut butter, or other favorite 1-2 TBS cacao, cocoa, or carob powder 1 TBS hemp seeds 1 TBS mixed ground chia and flax seeds 1 tsp vanilla extract or seeds of one vanilla bean 1 cup baby spinach 2-4 ice cubes Directions: Blend all ingredients in a blender. Double this if you want to share! *Tip: To freeze bananas, peel them when ripened, and break each banana in 2-3 pieces. Place pieces into a freezer bag, or a glass or plastic container, lined with parchment paper to avoid sticking. Freeze for several hours or overnight.
