Christian Animals: The Crow & The Kitten Yesterday I posted - TopicsExpress

Christian Animals: The Crow & The Kitten Yesterday I posted about the Tortoise who assisted his fellow who had somehow tilted over on his shell and couldnt recover. That was amazing to behold; so I jokingly referred to the helper as a good Christian. Well, it appears that there are more good Christians in the Animal Kingdom. In this story, there is a Crow protecting, providing for and playing with an abandoned kitten. This is probably the most bizarre pairing of two very different animals; but they made their differences work and created a bond of friendship because the one who could showed compassion for the one in need. Maybe I should have paid more attention to the Christian trait of the Raven who brought Elijah his daily meal during the onset of a famine. When we discover a true need that we are capable of addressing, we should be blind to all differences between us and those in need. True Christians do not segregate into cultural subsets as we see between black church and white church or denominations. In Christ, we dont discriminate against male or female, Jew or gentile, bond or free, rich or poor. In fact, the greatest testimony is when opposite parts celebrate their diversity as ideal for making a more perfect whole. I cant get into the mind of the kitten to know his true thoughts; but his story of an unlikely relationship with a CROW makes me think... Boy, I wish I had a FAITHFUL FRIEND who can FLY!
