Christians face ridicule and humiliation in public school everyday (even in Sulphur Springs, Tx, I hear the stories). But we should teach our children why this is (John 15:19). That Jesus told us that the world would hate us (Mt 10:22). I admire the family and organization involved for trying to protect others in the future but apologies and law suits are not really going to help. Teaching children to stand on the truth in the face of persecution is a better lesson (Mt 5:10). That character trait is something that will serve them well.
