CitiMortgage is the worst!! Cheryl and I had insurance work done to our house in August while we we in Hawaii. On our return, I sent the State Farm insurance check to CitiMortgage so that they could endorse it as the first mortgage holder and return it to me so we could pay our contractor for work he completed in August. I have completed and provided all CitiMortgage paperwork that they required. Not once but several times. Our contractor has also provided multiple copies of requested information. Still, as of November 27, no endorsed check. I would advise that you avoid CitiMortgage and CitiBank at all costs for your credit and mortgage needs. CitiMortgage is staffed by some of the most incompetent employees I have ever encountered. Their customer service is awful. Cheryl and I got stuck with these idiots when they bought out mortgage. If you are mortgaged through CitiMortgage, consider refinancing to get your mortgage out of their hands. If you have a credit card from CitiBank, cut it up. The only way to punish consistent incompetence is to take your business out of their hands. Feel free to share this information with anyone and everyone. I am on a quest to rain on the CitiBank/CitiMortgage parade. They have poked the bear and he is upset!!!
