Comrades and friends, words of wisdom from across the river: over - TopicsExpress

Comrades and friends, words of wisdom from across the river: over the past two months or so, our political party hit a rough patch when certain persons amongst us clandestinely sought to replace our elected president. A few days ago, the rift was mended, or so we thought. Mangoma, the lead guitarist of the Renewal Band has, the man who claims was attacked but had only a torn shirt to show for the alleged assault by cadres he claimed were affiliated to my President, before the ink has hardly dried, yesterday issued the following statement which was captured by Zimbabwe Mail where he said that the leadership renewal war was far from over and insisted that my President Morgan Tsvangirai does not have the capacity to lead the party or the country and should step down. “I don’t want to be blamed by future generations, I don’t want to be judged for misleading the people into accepting him (Tsvangirai) as a leader, I worked with him, I know him, he has no capacity, and he is not fit. He must step down. I meant just that, that is why I signed the letter I gave to him, I stand by that,” said the man. My message to all the comrades is this: the snake has simply withdrawn into its nest and is hoping to lull us to sleep. My call is this, Mangoma is a front-man, he speaks on behalf of those we claim to have patched up our relation with. All is not well and I can smell it from across the Zambezi River. Be vigilant. Keep your eyes peeled and keep your ear to the ground. These are words of wisdom coming from across the river. Nyamika ngako, Ndatenda, Ngiyabonga, Zikomo, Thank you.
