Congress should be under the same laws as everyone else. That was one of my first votes in the Contract with America and it will be again when I represent you. Congress should not be exempt from the laws they pass. They should not rule over the people they should represent the people. This is one of the major differences between myself and the incumbent. When I was first in office I voted to place Congress under the same laws as the rest of America. After leaving Congress they changed that. Thats just wrong. It rankles me that these House Republicans would fund Obamacare but exclude themselves from it.
