Controller The position holder is responsible for the formulation of strategic and operational guidelines for the Truck Agricultural plant in Brazil with reference to: • Elaboration of analytical reports on economic results for the administration and for the corporate offices in the USA; • Preparation and follow-up on the company strategic financial / economic plan composed of the rolling Forecast, Profit Plan e Strategic Plan; • Work with the other areas in the search of tools that make it possible to reduce expenses’; • Determination and analyses of the operational costs; • Analysis of capital investment plans and follow-up on the results; • Accounting control of input and indirect materials inventory as well as materials in consignment; • Administration and control of insurance policies; • Development of financial analyses for the quotes on new products and businesses. A. Based on the budget plans, contribute for an efficient administration of the company business, providing information and indicators on the occurrence and performance of the operation costs and their influence on the objectives; B. Assure punctuality of reports and provide quick response for administration on operational results and economic data, maintaining and refining control of results and budgets with the required speed; C. Provide a precise picture of the manufacturing costs and the potential items for their reduction through improvement of costing tools and methodologies that lead to corrective actions of the productive process; D. Contribute for decision making on the capital plan, examining the consolidated proposals and their expected benefits versus actual; E. Minimize spending on property and liability insurance participating in action plans for the reduction of risks; F. Support the managerial activity of the several operational areas providing analyses of their economical results that orient the administrative decisions; G. Administrate the correct determination of values for the quoting of new products and/or businesses so that the suggested prices may contribute to improve the performance of the company; H. Be updated on the evolution of the economy of the country that may influence the economic forecast of the company I. Establish internal auditing plans together with or independently from outside auditors, thus facilitating the work required of the area; J. Maximize the performance of the division through selection, training, compliance with the ethical standards, health and safety programs, orientation and motivation of the subordinates - Strong analytical and interpersonal skills; - BS/BA accounting degree; MBA preferred; - Complete understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (Brazil and US GAAP); - Brazilian Fiscal law knowledge and strong cost accounting experience; - Ability to work effectively with company and outside company management; - Fluency in English and Portuguese language; - Shop Floor knowledge; - Strong knowledge of Oracle manufacturing and Oracle Financials; - Financial Counseling to the General Manager; - Complete understanding of SOX; - Business acumen, vision & purpose and intellectual rigor; - Drive for results, change & adaptability and leveraging resources; - Managerial courage, holding self/others accountable and developing & motivating others; - Interpersonal communication skills and professional presence.
