RED FLAG WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 1 PM MONDAY THROUGH 11 PM MONDAY FOR EXTREME SOUTHEASTERN JOSEPHINE COUNTY, EASTERN DOUGLAS COUNTY, EASTERN AND EXTREME SOUTHERN JACKSON COUNTY, ALL OF KLAMATH COUNTY, AND WESTERN LAKE COUNTY IN OREGON, ALONG WITH ALL OF SISKIYOU COUNTY IN NORTHERN CALIFORNIA. The National Weather Service office In Medford, Oregon has issued a Red Flag Warning for Monday due to the expected development of thunderstorms creating abundant lightning striking critically dry fuels along with gusty winds that could promote rapid growth of new fire starts. In addition, the conditions could present fire fighter safety risks and could cause extreme fire behavior for the Camp Creek Complex, Happy Camp Complex, July Complex, and Log Fire areas. Locations in this warning include Williams, Glide, Steamboat, Tokatee, Diamond Lake, Crater Lake, Union Creek, Prospect, Butte Falls, Lake of the Woods, Howard Prairie, the Greensprings, Siskiyou Summit, the Mt. Ashland area, Applegate Reservoir area, Ruch, Provolt, all cities and towns in Klamath County, Lakeview, and all cities and towns in Siskiyou County in Northern California.
