Craig Nichols made the 16 hour round trip to Dream fishing’s Etang de Pierre recently, returning with a few more lumps in his photo album than he left with. The lake fished slow on average but Craig still managed a total of nine fish, six of these being ‘proppa’ carp along with three grass carp, the biggest of the ‘proppa uns’ came in the way of a 40.4 mirror, setting a new French pb for Craig, with the largest of the grassys tipping the scales at 44lb on the button. The fish were taken over beds of spod mix, consisting of mixed particles with crumbed and whole formula boilie, considering the fishing was slow it’s safe to say the new pb made it all worthwhile, evident by the beaming smile when he called in to tell us about the trip! Well in that man!!
