Cristiano Ronaldo is a Portuguese soccer player and captain of the Portuguese National Team with a net worth estimate of $130 million and annual salary and earnings of $35 million. He was born on February 5th, 1985 in Funchel Madeira, Portugal. His father José Dinis Aveiro was a gardener and his mother Maria Dolores dos Santos Aveiro was a cook. The second name of Ronaldo was given to him because of his fathers favorite actor, Ronald Reagan. Ronaldo has three other siblings. He began playing soccer at the age of eight with Andorinha. In 1995, he signed with Nacional. He would take them to the championships. With the heat on him he got a three day trial with Sporting Club de Portugal. They liked what they saw and signed him to their team. He made a huge splash in his Sporting debut when he scored not, one but two goals. At the age of 15 he was diagnosed with a racing heart which almost forced him to stop playing soccer forever. After a successful surgery he was able to put his playing career back on track.
