Croatias Kranjcar to miss World Cup ------------------------------------------------- Queens Park Rangers midfielder Niko Kranjcar will miss out on the FIFA World Cup™ for Croatia through injury. The 29-year-old limped off 33 minutes into the Hoops 1-0 Championship play-off victory over Derby County at Wembley on Saturday with a hamstring injury which has ruined his chances of adding to his 81 international caps in Brazil. Croatian midfielder Niko Kranjcar will miss the World Cup due to hamstring injury, the Croatian Football Federations official Twitter feed posted on Monday afternoon. Real Madrid midfielder Luka Modric and Bayern Munich striker Mario Mandzukic are the star names and will be hoping to make their mark against hosts Brazil, Mexico and Cameroon in Group A.
