Crossover Crew 2015: Kickstart Boom! Tonight kick starts the Crossover Crew 2015 program tonight. 5:30 at the Lac Courte Oreilles Ojibwe School. We have 4 teams, 4 coaches, and 25 kids (Kindergarten through 2nd Grade) all ready and excited to play some basketball. Parents/Guardians, please have your children in their gear before 5:30 so we can provide a 5 minute warmup period and give a brief introduction to the kids, as well as expectations, housekeeping, etc. Coaches, we will all combine together for this week and practice as a group. First, I would really appreciate if we could corral your team to take attendance and make sure we have the kids who were signed up. Everyone: Lets have some fun with this. I know our numbers are reduced, but thats fine. This just means, our kids who did sign up; are provided with much more attention and repetitions than those who did not. We are not only getting them started early with skills, but also teaching them to be coachable; which are some of the biggest struggles in sports. See everyone tonight!!!
