Crusheen manager John Carmody has said they will await the referees report before deciding whether they will appeal the red card issued to Paddy Vaughan during Saturdays win over Clonlara. The former Clare captain was dismissed in first-half injury time by referee Ambrose Heagney for an apparent off the ball incident. A straight red card carries an automatic one month ban, which could increase to three if Vaughan is cited for striking. The county final between Crusheen and Cratloe is set for Sunder October 5th, and Crusheen boss John Carmody says he hopes Vaughan will be available to line out Taken from Clare.fm
