Customer Service FAIL! Yesterday, I spent about an hour and a half with AT&T trying to make some changes to an account. Wow! Just in case you are an employee with a company (or the owner), a phrase that can really make a customer feel special is NOT, No, you cant do that! I understand that companies have policies, but when you are IN THE STORE and the sales person tells you, You have to go through customer service to do that, its like they forget that THEY ARE CUSTOMER SERVICE RIGHT THERE and just because they dont have the title they still have the RESPONSIBILITY! What if they would have said... Mr. Staires, this is a tough spot weve put you in. But you are a valued customer and we dont want you to feel like were giving you the runaround. So, at your earliest convenience, please come by our store and ask for me specifically and I will personally solve this issue for you and make sure we earn your continued business. Just a thought...
