This is a great question that the lord said i should ask his follower.People try to serve God for many diffirent reasons,some serve from true love and some from other motives,they all profess to be servants of God,yet instead of their being Gods servants,their leading aim and objective is to secure their own salvation or some other advantage for themselves through Gods favour,they want to make God their friend so they can use him to serve their own needs. This is what happen to the isrealite in wilderness,their motives is to serve for their needs for the need of GodTHEN MOSES STOOD IN THE GATE OF THE CAMP AND SAID WHO IS ON THE LORD SIDE?LET HIM COME TO ME AND ALL THE SONS OF LEVI GATHERED THEMSELVES TOGETHER TO HIM(Exodus32:26) So many people are no more on the lord side,some gave their life to christ ten,eleven,tweive years ago but today theyve backslide,they allow the lust of flesh to have power over their christian life,despite what happen to job,he never for once blaspheme the name of God but he stand on the lord side,despite the sin of the isrealite joshua never relent to worship GodBUT AS FOR ME AND MY HOUSE WE WILL SERVE THE LORD(joshua24:15) What are you passing through that makes you said you will not serve God,i want you to know that the lord has a good plan for you(1corinthians2:9-10)The lord will supply all your needs according to his riches in glory(philipians4:19)some people said they are serving but their heart is far away from himTHIS PEOPLE DRAW NEAR TO ME WITH THEIR MOUTH AND HONOUR ME WITH THEIR LIPS,BUT THEIR HEART IS FAR FROM ME(matthew15:8,isaiah29:12,jeremiah12:3)so many people move close to God because of what they want from him and after getting what they want,they move away from him,you cannot deceive God,my question isare you on the lord side?ask yourself am i on the lord side? seek the lord while he may be found and call upon him early SEEK YE THE LORD WHILE HE MAY BE FOUND,CALL YE UPON HIM WHILE HE IS NEAR(isaiah55:6)seek him at the early stage of your life(psalms63:1)amend your way.STAY BLESS
