DAIP is hiring! International Leader in Domestic Abuse Programs Seeks Executive Director Domestic Abuse Intervention Programs, home of “The Duluth Model,” is seeking an executive director. The Duluth Model is a community-wide, coordinated response to domestic abuse that keeps women safe and holds men who batter accountable. After more than 30 years, it is the most replicated and respected model of domestic abuse intervention used nationwide and around the world. The ideal candidate to lead this social change organization: • Is grounded in and has practiced the philosophy and approach of the Duluth Model; • Is committed to working collaboratively with the board, staff and community partners to create and implement a vision for moving the agency forward, and has demonstrated the ability to do so in other leadership roles; • Has developed a broad network of colleagues in the domestic abuse/domestic violence fields; • Has proven non-profit management skills, including but not limited to finance, program development, human resources management and fundraising/grant-writing, and • Has demonstrated a high degree of leadership ability in previous positions. Candidates must have at least five years’ experience leading an organization. Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred.
