DEAR NATHAN: summer vacation always included a trip up north to Scranton, PA (home of The Office!) to visit my uncle ike , who was literally one of the funniest guys youd ever meet (Meghan Srours dad). Your aunt Noelle M. Srour and I would be trapped in the car for 2 days of the most unique form of torture a teenager could possibly endure: granpdas (my dads) horrible old nasty music. However, in time I actually fell in love with some of the artists my father loved, none more so than Jim Croce. Growing up we heard one of his hits called Time In A Bottle over and over, and like most others who hear it we thought it was a love song. After some googling I discovered this song was not a love song at all, but instead he wrote this after he had his first son... he knew how quickly the days were slipping away from him , and I see that now with you. 5 months already?
