DELTA 2015 ; WHY SENATOR OKOWA WILL WIN , ITS THE INTEGRITY AND REPUTATION OF SENATOR (DR) OKOWA, Personality is a prime factor in any worthwhile leadership. The integrity of a leader is a critical and very important prerequisite to his success and there’s no exception to this LAW. In the face of so many unanswered political questions, the need to embrace leaders with vision and reputation becomes imperative. A nation’s future depends upon the integrity of leaders trained through wide exposure to a robust exchange of ideas which discovers truth out of a multitude of tongues.In looking for people to hire, you look for three qualities: integrity, intelligence, and energy. And if they don’t have the first, the other two will kill you. Therefore, in choosing our leaders, their reputations should be considered and put above party affiliation . Posterity will not do any justice if we undermine the reputation and antecedents of a leader because of the political party/platform he belongs. The word integrity is defined as ‘the adherence to moral and ethical principles; the soundness of moral character.’ It is a synonym for honesty and uprightness, and is a vital characteristic for those in political leadership. Political leaders who possess integrity can be trusted because he or she never veers from inner values, even when it might benefit them to do so. A leader must have the trust of followers. This requires the highest standard of integrity. This is what is making senator okowa number one for Delta governorship race , okowa is a man of high integrity In Delta state at the moment, such political parties as the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Democratic People’s Party (DPP) and the newly registered All Progressive Party, are much on ground. It is my belief that true leadership is not a function of any of these political parties, ie, the party the aspirant chooses to contest for any position of trust and authority should not pose a barrier to his victory at the poll. As the march to UNITY HOUSE Asaba begins, senator (Dr) Okowa , a man whose integrity, reputation and antecedents speak volume deserves our full support.
