DESTINATIONS.... ACTS 13:44-52;14:1-6. Jealousy, rejection, ridicule, revenge, physical abuse, murder plots---Paul and Barnabas experienced all that and much much more as they preached the Good News to others. According to my earnest expectation and my hope, that in nothing I shall be ashamed, but that with all boldness, as always, so now also Christ shall be magnified in my body, whether it be by life, or by death. For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain Philippians 1:20-21. Sometimes Paul and Barnabas stayed in a town for weeks; other times they had to run for their lives after a short stay. When we reach out to others, we may need the courage to hang in there with unreceptive people who present challenges to our message. Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God. And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him. Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world. There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love. We love him, because he first loved us. 1st John 4:15-19. In other cases we may need to cut our losses and run. It takes wisdom from above to know how to react in any given situation. ..WithoutGodsProvisionWeWillPerish..
