DIDACHE 19-Oct-2013, Sat TAKING A STAND “But whoever denies me before others will be denied before the angels of God.” – Luke 12:9 Many teens play online games — boys, especially, are into action, sports and war games. One young teen I know takes exception to some of the game titles. If he thinks a title includes the name of Jesus in an arbitrary way, he makes sure to comment to his friends that he thinks it’s blasphemous. I applaud the way he makes his stand. It’s not every day one sees or hears a teen defending the Lord even amid his leisure activity. Are we that vigilant? I’m sure we don’t brazenly disown the Lord but we may inadvertently do so when we choose to be silent before acts of moral indecency or corruption.
