DO NOT USE HER SERVICES. She is completely unprofessional. My fiancee and I have purchased Cass’s services through Weddeals.ca in April for a 2 hour engagement photoshoot scheduled on August 11. Since then, we have exchanged 23 emails. We have set up a theme, location, date, and time. Everything was set to go and booked. In the advertisement, Cass stated that she was able to travel anywhere in Toronto and Mississauga (it was included in the fee). Our photoshoot was scheduled to be in Mississauga. Nonetheless, Cass said that we would need to pay her extra (contrary to what was stated in her advertisement). We agreed to bring her cash and sent her a confirmation email 5 days before the event. We did not hear from her since then. We live 380km from Toronto and drove down to Toronto for the photoshoot. We spent over $300 in gas, hotel, hair, makeup, nails, etc. and showed up to the location at an appropriate date and time. It was my fiance’s birthday. We sat in the car waiting for Cass. She did not show up. We called her over 20 times- we then realized that she began to send us to voicemail after the first ring. She was declining our calls. I did not know what to do- my fiance was crying because her birthday has been ruined. We started to text her. She finally replied stating that she took a flight out of Toronto because of a “family emergency.” We asked her to call us- she would not. We said that we would go to court. Only then she returned us our money back. She failed to tell us she could not come and simply did not show up. We were left sitting in the car. We spent my fiancee’s birthday frantically calling photographers from the phone book trying to find someone else for that day. We also had to redo her hair and makeup because we could not find someone till night. We ended up spending 6 times more for a photographer than what Cass charged us. Overall, it was an insane day. The bottom line: This photographer is unreliable and unprofessional. Can you imagine something like this happening for our wedding? DO NOT BOOK HER if you do not want to be let down. Good quality of work means nothing if the photographer does not show up and acts unprofessional.
