DOJ Spending Tax Payer Money in Defense of Trayvon Martin July 10, 2013 DOJ, Eric Holder, Federal Funding, George ZImmerman, protests, Rallies, riots, Trayvon Martin 5 Comments “A division of the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) was deployed to Sanford, Florida in 2012 to provide assistance for anti-George Zimmerman protests, including a rally headlined by activist Al Sharpton, according to newly released documents.” says the Daily Caller. With Obama making comments saying, “…if he had a son, he would look like Trayvon Martin.” The strong arm of the DOJ began using Federal tax dollars in support of anti-Zimmerman rallies. Using a lesser known division of the DOJ called Community Relations Service (CRS), they were tasked with: •Working “marches, demonstrations, and rallies related to the shooting and death of an African-American teen by a neighborhood watch captain”; •Providing “support for protest deployment in Florida”; •Providing “technical assistance to the City of Sanford, event organizers, and law enforcement agencies for the march and rally on March 31”; •Providing “technical assistance, conciliation, and onsite mediation during demonstrations planned in Sanford.” With the first task being related to the death of an African-American teen, the government has inserted the race card and deemed Zimmerman guilty before the trial even began. They used your tax money to push racial hate onto the entire country and find this man guilty before due process because of the color of the deceased skin. Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton commented, “These documents detail the extraordinary intervention by the Justice Department in the pressure campaign leading to the prosecution of George Zimmerman. My guess is that most Americans would rightly object to taxpayers paying government employees to help organize racially-charged demonstrations.” This is just another example of Big Brother putting your tax money where it does not belong, and trying to influence the outcome of the courts to further their own agenda.
