DRIER WEATHER RETURNING We have been tracking upper level disturbances moving from north to south into our region Tuesday night through Thursday night. These systems brought rain to our area the following morning. We are not tracking anything that is poised to bring rain to us for Saturday. A dry weather pattern is quickly returning to our region for the weekend. It is forecast to last through the upcoming work week. Light east winds are helping to keep slightly milder air moving into our area. Look for low temperatures Saturday and Sunday mornings in the upper 60s. High temperatures are expected to climb into the lower 90s Saturday and into the middle 90s Sunday. Afternoon highs this week should continue to reach the middle 90s each day through Friday. We are still tracking an surface low pressure area in the Gulf of Mexico. This system could bring heavy rainfall to Louisiana by Sunday.
