Dad was admitted into the hospital around 5 am this morning. He was having difficulty breathing yesterday so mom took him to the ER. When they arrived his heart rate was elevated so they started running test to find out what was going on. They tested him for the flu and did a chest xray and ruled out pneumonia and the flu. The doctor felt like it could be congestive heart failure but after running test and a ct scan there was no fluid around his lungs so they ruled out congestive heart failure. The doctor wasnt satisfied that he couldnt find anything to determine why his heart rate was elevated an why he continued to have difficulty breathing so they ran more test to rule out a possible blood clot in his lungs. That too came back clear. Due to dads condition they decided to transfer and admit him to Rex to run more test. Asking for prayers for healing and for the doctors so they can find out what is going on. Thank you all in advance.
