We like new and different things . . . occasionally, but when it comes to the nuts and bolts of daily living, we need to maintain consistency. We are, after all, only human. And humans need sleep and nutrition to survive. We probably could get by for a while with less sleep, an improper diet, or no exercise. Fortunately, for us, at some point our body and mind tell us something is wrong. Signals come in many ways, exhaustion, increased pain, new symptoms, irritability, depression. It is difficult to maintain a regular schedule every day. However, it is necessary to have a reasonable routine that will provide you with an appropriate amount of rest, exercise and nutrition. -THE ACPA
