Damien Faulkner prevailed in a back-and-forth session to snare his second consecutive pole in GTC qualifying. Faulkner – winner of the most recent race at Austin in the No. 66 TRG Porsche 911 GT3 Cup shared by Ben Keating – ran a lap of 1:52.213 to knock off the top two contenders for the championship. Points leader Jeroen Bleekemolen was second in the No. 22 WeatherTech Porsche co-driven by Cooper MacNeil, 1:52.610, while top challenger Spencer Pumpelly was third in the No. 45 Flying Lizard Motorsports Porsche co-driven by Nelson Canache Jr., 1:52.621. Saturday’s schedule opens with a 25-minute warm-up at 9:35 a.m. ET. The Oak Tree Grand Prix takes the green flag at 2:15 p.m
