David Cameron thinks UK is a Christian country, does he? Whats his evidence for that? Certainly not the number of church goers. Certainly not the absence of alternative beliefs. UK is the least religious country in Europe with a high proportion of believers being non-Christian. I am quite pleased about some of the Christian elements in my upbringing and quite appalled by some of the others. I welcome much of the good work done by the Church and am grateful for some of the duties undertaken by the Church. But to say UK is a Christian country is, at the very least, a mistake!
