Day 14 - Story - sorry for the two for one print. When I was almost 2 my grandparents and parents took me on vacation to a place called Bungalo Village in NH. I, if you can see, am the little white blurb on the front porch. A couple of years ago I realized when I was at Plymouth, NH, that Bristol was close by. My husband and I went up to the area for the weekend and armed with this photo we began looking for a place with cottages (there are still a few) - as luck would have it we found it. The house is privately owned, but some of the other cottage owners rent - and we have now spent 3 summers on Newfound Lake - and I realize why my parents went there in the first place...one of the cleanest lakes in the northeast. Sixty-five years between those photos....
