Day 221: Today was a day of unpacking, laundry, grocery shopping, mowing the lawn . . . and the list goes on. I even decided to knock off a painting project that Ive been wanting to get done for weeks (actually months). While I was definitely in a post-vacation haze for most of the day feeling a little bummed to be back to reality - I felt a surprising happiness boost in reflecting on our productivity at home today. The kids were happily playing and we actually got a lot done. Sometimes happiness is as simple as having a productive day (and a well-manicured lawn). Ill take it!!
