Day 6. Friday. We took it easy today by walking around Old town of Edinburgh..up the Royal Mile. I noticed that the streets were cobblestones and buildings were built on rocks. In fact, part of the City is built on volcanic rock. Overlooking the City,is Arthurs seat, the highest peak of the City. The top of the mile is the Edinburgh castle and the base of the mile is the Holyrood castle. We walked from top to bottom. There were lots of tourists looking for good bargains..The weather on the other hand was threatening to rain. On the way down, dong Ronil was so ecstatic to see a cafe selling roasted pig. We had to get some and it was heaven. Imagine..with the Scottish,haggis/neeps/tatties, comes the lechon..unreal.. That same evening despite the pouring rain,we braved ourselves up the Royal mile again to meet at the Witchery resto for our Murder and Mystery tour of Adam Lyal. It was great how he made us laugh inspite of the gory details he shared. The rain showed no sign of quitting but a mug of hot chocolate capped the night. It was a great night still. God bless
