Day 7: I am thankful for being here to see my children and grandchildren grow and mature. Life has taught my family and me a lot of valuable lessons and I am very thankful to be still learning. Life is truly about learning. The more you learn about the world around you, hopefully the more understanding, empathy, sympathy, and love will increase in your life instead of the alternative. Practicing what I preach, asking questions when I dont understand, helping when I can, and walking a mile in someone elses shoes are a few learning tools that I have picked up for studying lifes lessons and I am SO THANKFUL for that! I guess that you can say that I am thankful to be still learning more of lifes lessons, (funny, cause I dont feel that way about mid-terms and finals, :-) ).
