Day 80 of 365 days of moving on... Im back! One if the consequences of all this moving on is that life has got so full and busy I no longer have time to write about it on FB every day. However, tonight I found myself with some unexpected free time...so here is my 1st post for 2015! I dont do New Years Resolutions as such, but for some years now I have chosen a word or saying and a song for the year ahead. This years word is purification...in particular its meaning...to refine. Last year was the 5th tough year in a row...not helped by a fall on February 10th during a bad Hemiplegic Migraine attack that left me only able to work part time for the rest of the year...not great when youre single and have 3 dogs to look after and keep in food and bones! Eventually the injury to my leg and sciatic nerve meant I had to give up cleaning all together...and I found myself looking for a new way of making a living...with all the complications living with HM bring... :/ While scary at the time it was the best thing that could have happened and I am now 3 weeks into a new job as Office Manager for a small up and coming cleaning business...and loving (almost) every minute! ;) And more importantly the tail end of last year saw me finally coming to terms with my HM and the totally life changing effects it had 5 years previously...within a few months I lost my very successful career, partner and home...and found myself existing in a life I had no understanding of, or peace with. So the best bit of 2014 on a personal level...finally learning to like myself and engage with now...no regrets, no looking back :) And 2015...well thats about enjoying now, living and loving every moment..good and bad...and living a life in which I reap what I sow and am wholly accountable for what I do and who I am. So to go along with my word of 2015 I chose Holly Johnsons Heavens Eyes as my 2015 soundtrack...a wise, fun song...with a great 80s pop feel... :D Its been a pretty full on year already...with more than its fair share of highs and lows...but...I think thats simply my life...and amongst it all...I AM...and you know what, thats the best thing I would ever ask to be... :D As I have always told my girls...we should all be our greatest fans...its just taken me a while to learn how to do that... xxx
