Day two since surgery and I am feeling better than what I ever would have imagined, the hospital staff are so lovely... Couldnt complain about a thing, except for the food of course. When I was just about to go into theatre, I cant describe the fear I felt... Everything was so unfamiliar, I just had to say goodbye to my husband and I was so alone and terrified, just lying their looking at two big doors that said operating theatre, my surgeon Dr Alzubaidy came out to me and held my hand and I previously promised him a smile... I had to push from deep within me to find it, but, I looked at him and smiled... I told him I was scared and he said youve got nothing to be scared about... When you come out of this room, you will have no cancer... The Cancer will be gone.... The relief was instant, I know longer had to dig deep to smile... My smile was real.... I was happy and excited and as I lie hear 2 days later, I am HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY... Wont know the outcome of the histology tests.until next Friday... This will determine what treatment is next.... But whatever the outcome, I am HAPPY xxxx
