Dear CM, I need your help. Im 14 years old and my mom has cancer. My dad works but there is never enough money. They pay the bills the best they can but theres never enough food in the house. My mom got both of her breast fixed but now its in her liver. She keeps saying shes going to beat it. I think she will. My dad makes too much money for us to get food stamps so mom refuses to eat. She thinks I dont notice but I do. She fixes her a plate then acts like shes busy and puts it back in the pan. I watch her do it every night. CM, she needs it worse than I do and it makes me feel guilty when I eat. Can you help? She would be mad if she knew I wrote to you so please dont tell her. Alice Dear Alice, You eat.
