Dear Euroscola participants, Firstly, I would like to add some details to the information we sent to you yesterday and today. You know that the flight number from Larnaca is Cy376 and that the return flight from Zurich is CY353. We leave Larnaca on the 26th of March at 9 am and will be transported to and from Larnaca by mini bus (leaving from First Lyceum at 5 am). Departure from Zurich is 14.20. The name of the hotel we will be staying in is Victoria Gardens and it is centrally located in the heart of Strasbourg. We will be in the European Parliament on the 27th from 8 am till 6pm. Friday, the 28th of March is our free day and we have decided to spend it in Heidelberg. We have already mentioned the fact that you will need some pocket money, and we are asking the students to bear in mind that it will be necessary for each of you to pay approximately 15 to 20 Euros for that excursion. Attached you will find some information, some of which you may already have received. It includes the programme we will be following on the 27th of March in the European Parliament, as well as the topics which you will be discussing in groups together with students from other countries. After discussing the topic, each group will choose a spokesperson to report on what they discussed. Each topic has a special symbol next to it. I will now assign each of you a specific topic from this list. You are not expected to be an expert on the topic, but it would be helpful to take a look in the Internet and do a bit of reading on the subject if you have time.
