Dear Friends, Fellow Tablers, I am now winding down my visit to Philippines. I start my journey back home today in the evening straight after the RT Philippines AGM. Like I mentioned its a long worth trip and I as I leave this place am very happy and proud of what we have achieved here together as Round Table International family. When the typhoon hit the Philippines, RT Philippines was suspended, was almost dead. When we decided to support the victims of the typhoon we went into this task with Two (02) clear objectives: 1) To help/support the victims of the typhoon rebuild their their lives by providing shelter. 2) To revive Round Table in Philippines. Acting together with all the partners including the local Tablers, the above has been achieved and tonight we have the AGM of RT Philippines. I take this moment to thank Jan-Willem de Groot and Joost Simons from RT Netherlands, and the entire RT the Netherlands for working with RTI Board to achieve the above. I also thank Noel Caprio - Makati No.1 Chairman and Taikee for helping us implement the project on the ground and for hosting us so well here in Philippines. Being on the ground I have seen that many people do not still have houses, they are living in tents. My appeal is that its not too late you can still be part of this successful help for Philippines, make that donation and the RTI Board and Makati No. 1 will ensure your donation goes to the affected families.
