Dear Honda Team, I am utterly disappointed at the incompetence - TopicsExpress

Dear Honda Team, I am utterly disappointed at the incompetence displayed by the mechanics at your dealerships. I bought my 8th Gen Civic Type R brand new at the dealership in 2011. After the first year of driving this car, a small problem emerged itself and I brought it into the dealership for checking. I at the time had told the service advisor that the clutch was making clicking and clacking noises with a tad of resistance being felt from when the foot is stepping on it. Of course the problem was said to be normal and that a lubrication could easily fix it up. Which it did, for another year. Two years of driving this car the problem emerges yet again, which this time I had to raise the dispute to an even more senior service advisor, which once again ended up with just a lubrication cure. Of course I mentioned that my warranty would run out in the third year and I had hoped it would not come back. But another year goes by, and the problem reoccurred. By that time I had so much heat in my head that I demanded the part be replaced, which at the time the service advisor did not respond in a courteous manner, suggesting that only I could feel the issue of the car and that he could not see what was wrong with the clutch. He mentioned that he was willing to get me a new part followed by a very threatening voice this better fix the problem. Which made me feel offended as he had made it seem like I was paranoid. Now in the present, another year has passed since the NEW part(master cylinder) was installed, the problem is as in the video and is out of warranty. I have dropped my car into the dealership today stating I want this fixed, and will be picking up my car tomorrow as suggested by the service advisor, but I have been updated that they could not reproduce this problem at the workshop and the noise is gone. I am afraid I will be picking this car up tomorrow with a report of nothing being found irregular of the car, resulting in me driving this car on a planned 3 day trip to Sydney from Melbourne feeling the utmost unease by the fact that the clutch may break at any random moment. I am no honda expert but I do know that there is a problem with the car. So tell me, after watching the video clip, are the mechanics really honda experts or am I just paranoid? You can be damn sure if this isnt fixed and without proper explanations as expected of Honda Experts at the dealership, I will be raising the matter with Consumer Affairs Victoria. Regards, Martin Tsang. Melbourne, VIC.
