Dear JQG Construction, Today, the Sangguniang Panglunsod of Angeles City has approved the following 2 resolutions and hopefully, Resolution No. 3, after a Committee Hearing: 1. PR-303-07-14: Resolution urging Secretary Rogelio Singson, Department of Public Works and Highways to suspend the license of JQG Construction in order not to participate in future biddings and to rescind all his contracts undertaken within Angeles City and award them to the next highest bidder for the continuation in the execution of these projects. - Councilors Maximo L. Sangil and Maricel G. Morales 2. PR-304-07-14: Resolution requesting/urging the Honorable Edgardo D. Pamintuan, City Mayor and the members of the Bidding and Awards Committee to ban JQG Construction from all future projects of the city government. - Councilors Maricel G. Morales and Jericho G. Aguas 3. PR-305-07-14: Resolution declaring Mr. Jose Q. de Guzman, owner of JQG Construction as persona- non-grata. - Councilors Jericho G. Aguas and Maricel G. Morales The Angelenos, like most Kapampangans, are very patient and kind to the point of being mapagtiis. Your company however, have been pushing our patience to the brink: 1. You started a major project without coordinating with the local government unit concerned; 2. You entered into a major infrastructure project which seems to me you cannot handle- you have 2 or 3 men working on the Pandan Road project. It was only after the Sangguniang Panglunsod raised a howl that you started increasing your workers; 3. You just left your project in midstream without any notice to the public, the local and barangay officials; 4. Your safety signs are horrible to say the least! 5. You have caused irreparable damages to properties along Pandan and to other motorists; 6. Your representatives promised to complete the initial phase of the project last June 30 and until now it has not yet been completed. 7. You damaged several water pipes in Pandan and along the Circumferential Road and you do not seem to take full responsibility! 8. You have not paid your SITUS TAX to the city government despite 2 communications sent to you by our Treasurer. The list can go on. Please do not make us angrier than we are right now.
