Dear Johnny - we are most concerned that you are not aware of the circumstances which necessitated the cancelling of our gig with you at the Birdwell venue. We posted the attached explanation some few weeks ago and hoped it would reach everyone concerned. I am also under the impression that our manager Pete Bradley has fully explained to you these circumstances when he contacted you to cancel.
