Dear Valued Customer & Friend, We are writing you to let you know of some exciting changes at Runner’s Alley Nashua. As a valued customer, we felt you should personally hear it from us. Runner’s Alley Nashua has officially agreed to partner and convert our store to become Fleet Feet Sports, Nashua. Re-branding will occur within the next 30 days. Fleet Feet Sports is the leader in franchising successful, community-oriented, running specialty stores, with 129 locations in 36 states. This is not a sale of Runner’s Alley Nashua to Fleet Feet. Original partners, BJ Bottomley and Jeanine Sylvester, decided to part ways and BJ and his wife, Amy, have purchased Jeanine’s shares in the company and are now converting to a Fleet Feet Sports. The store is still the owned and operated by B.J. and will be for years to come. The reason BJ and Amy are doing this is because of recent rapid consolidation of the run specialty channel, access to more resources to improve operationally and to have the relevancy and power of a national brand. This will also benefit our customers by providing the following benefits: 1. Improved customer in-store experience with a greater opportunity for continued staff training. 2. A single customer database. 3. Updated and improved training programs. 4. Gift Cards that can be used at Fleet Feet franchises nationwide. 5. Soon to be released on-line shopping opportunities. 6. Increased offerings in running and wellness programs. 7. Ensuring our continued support of local community races and charity causes. Finally, this is a way to always ensure local ownership and to ensure local dollars stay in the greater Nashua community. As native and current Southern New Hampshire residents, B.J. & Amy remain committed to serving their home community and fellow residents. We will be looking to officially convert to a Fleet Feet Sports within the next 30 days and will be planning a grand opening to celebrate our new venture (date to be determined).
