Dear family and friends: I decided to uninstall the FB app from my phone. My apologies if starting today my response to your messages are no longer immediate, if I dont get to consistently send Happy Birthday messages through FB, or if I dont get to like and comment on your status updates as often I as used to. I will still keep my FB account to connect with family and friends all over the world but I will check only using my laptop and on irregular intervals. I want to re-experience the simple pleasures of not being connected 24/7: 1) hugging my loved ones a little bit more as soon as I wake up instead of looking for my phone to check what I missed during the time I was asleep, 2) observing people and nature and maybe striking random conversations with strangers, instead of browsing mindlessly while waiting for time to pass, 3) enjoying my kids, my wife, my friends and the seasons of life without having to think if I have taken a picture or if I have the right words for my next status update. The list goes on and on. Thank you. Ill connect with you when I go online from time to time! Life is awesome!
