Dear fb friends, Good evening to you, May you be well and happy always, May you be free from fear and worries, With Metta, Andrew. LOVE ENDURES ALL: Today afternoon as I was driving in Kuala Lumpur, there was a very huge-deadlock traffic jam at Jalan Klang Lama-Puchong junction-Petaling Jaya junction because the traffic lights went dead. Vehicles were practically ‘crawing’ along the highway, hardly moving and at the 4 directions junction, it was a total mess with vehicles horning and each trying to go their own way, resulting in heated verbal abuses and argument and excessive horning. No traffic policeman was in sight since being Saturday afternoon. Then out of the blue, I notice a Malaysian couple walking nearby. The man spoke to his girlfriend to wait some distant away, and he went humbly, without a word, to the middle of the road and started directing the traffic as what a traffic policeman would do. At first, he was not successful with vehicles drivers stubborn and pride, not giving way, but then after a few minutes, all the vehicles gave way to his directions seeing a humble man alone and he manage to clear the clogged up area. He did all this in drizzling rain. I manage to take some photos of this humble man in action. Therefore, my 2 inspirational quotes for today would be: 1ST QUOTE: “Blessed are the meek for they will inherit the earth.” - Matthew 5.5 (I have check for bible explanation and it says the meek are those who are humble and lowly towards Gods here on this earth. Their attitude is the opposite of PRIDE. Not so in Gods Kingdom. God hates PRIDE. His system of reward for doing good, the person who is highest in His Eyes is the person of a simple, humble, obedient and teachable heart versus one who stands against God and elevates self above all else. Hence, those who are meek will be first and highest in Gods Kingdom, like Jesus.) 2ND QUOTE: “Build me a son, O Lord, who will be strong enough to know when he is weak, and brave enough to face himself when he is afraid, one who will be proud and unbending in honest defeat, and humble and gentle in victory.” - Douglas MacArthur Finally, I believe all fathers and mothers on this earth would like to have such a son/or daughter too.
