Delbert Belton was a good man. One friend said of Belton: “He lived his life every day to make somebody else happy. It wasn’t all about him. It was about what he could do for everybody else.” The 88-year-old widower enjoyed dancing, repairing old cars and playing pool. Playing pool was what Belton was doing Wednesday night in Spokane WA. But the man known as “Shorty” didn’t make it home, murdered by two black teenage thugs. A World War II veteran, Belton survived his bullet wound suffered at the Battle of Okinawa. But he couldn’t survive his skull being crushed by a couple of flashlights. Catch that gun-control freaks, flashlights. So why make a big deal of this? Because damn it, the media won’t do it and patriots like Delbert Belton deserve to be remembered! If I had a time machine I’d set the clock back to May 1945, and drop the punks responsible smack dab into the middle of Okinawa. The two cowards wouldn’t last 30 seconds.
