Democracy in Action . Britain and France the two major European powers have been absolutely determined to take military action against Syria possibly this week and asking US to join in and punish Syrian regime for the alleged use of chemical weapon against civilians in a small town near Damascus on 21st August 2013 . Last night the Westminster parliament which is known as the “ mother of parliaments “ have voted against the government decision for the military involvements in Syrian civil war which is a terrible blow to the British government particularly the Prime Minister who was personally master mining the attack on Syrian regime . Thank God the British public did not support the government and rejected the idea of starting another war in the Middle East . The shocking memories of Iraq wars still lingers in the minds of British public and will remain so for many more years to come and people still remember that the previous government had acted foolishly and arrogantly on the basis of wrong information from the wrong sources and ignored the will of the British people despite the demand of millions of people in Britain marching on the door step of Downing Street at the thick of harsh winter in 2003 . The legacy of Iraq war still haunting many politicians in the UK and possible trial of some of them in future .
