Deputies charged 18 yr old Madison High School student James Simmons with impersonating a peace officer (M1), possession of criminal tools (M1), and unlawful restraint (M3), after he was accused of using an unmarked 2007 Ford Crown Victoria Interceptor police car to pull over motorists. According to deputies, he was using the car, with flashing lights in the grill, to pull over motorists. He admitted to making numerous car stops since 10-13 when he first got the car. He said he was doing it for fun and regretted his poor decision.
