Director Strategic Customer Acquisition North America – San Diego – Promotional Products Summary: In this position you will guide the development of the direct marketing customer acquisition strategy: • Grow our customer database year over year through customer acquisition based on corporate guidelines and our internal customer waterfall. Predominant channel will be mail order with expectations of exploring and testing new channels. • Responsible for the Mail Order prospecting P&L down to contribution Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Maximize yearly number of First time buyers while achieving contribution targets. • P&L responsibilities for our prospect Mail Order channel • Manage a strategic customer acquisition team comprised of 3 people (1 marketing manager, 1 media manager, 1 data analyst) • Oversee the analytical aspects of direct response program including prospecting list segmentation and preparation, controlled testing, campaign management, product and sales forecasting and analysis • Understand the life time value of our different customer segments to optimize our customer acquisition strategy • Will work closely with the Promotional Customer Acquisition Manager to optimize ROI on every campaign. Supervisory Responsibilities Directly supervises 3 employees in the Strategic Customer Acquisition Department. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Qualifications: • At least five years of direct marketing experience required with an emphasis on direct mail • Detailed experience with advanced segmentation, list management, controlled testing and ROI analysis • Demonstrated success managing the strategy, implementation and optimization of direct mail programs. • Strong desire to delve into the data • Very strong quantitative analysis and reasoning skills • Strong Statistical Skills • Passion for developing creative direct marketing campaigns through understanding information, results analysis and problem solving Education: Bachelors Degree required For confidential consideration please forward resume to: Jill Martinelli Director of Technical Recruitment TriStaff Group | San Diego, CA 92122 Phone 858.597.0845 | Cell 858.220.1282 jill@tristaff
