Disappointed, but not surprised to have received the following response to my email from the Chief Exec of Gwynedd Council; I thank you for your e-mail. I have asked the Head of Service responsible to furnish you with a reply. NOT that hes asked the Head of Service to provide him with an update so that he can respond, but that hes passed it for THEM to respond. (and thats without the lack of common niceties, ie no Dear... or Regards... Astonishing This is my response Dear Mr Williams Thank you for your email, however I have already emailed the Head of Service directly. If you take the time to re-read my email you will see that I am not complaining about a wheelie bin not being collected - I am asking you, as Chief Executive of Gwynedd Council, how you are taking your part in ensuring that what is currently a failing, multi million pound project, is taken to completion as soon as possible and that steps are taken to investigate how the failings have come to be. I note, with disappointment, that you havent even said that youll find out from the Head of Service what the situation is and let me know - youve said that you will ask them to respond - am I to assume from this that you have no overseeing interest in this continuing unacceptable situation?
